Perched with views over the historic Kew Gardens, this Edwardian semi-detached home has been transformed into a modern family retreat that feels both elegant and inviting. The renovation included a loft extension with a new ensuite bedroom, and a rear extension replacing the dated conservatory with a light-filled, open-plan space for relaxed entertaining. Steel bi-fold doors connect the interior seamlessly with the landscaped garden, blurring the line between inside and out.

The interior layout was reimagined to support daily life and effortless hosting. A separate laundry room and cloakroom were added on the ground floor, while upstairs, three ensuite bedrooms, a private office, and a craft room with bespoke storage provide functional yet refined spaces. The open-plan kitchen, dining, and living area has been carefully composed for family gatherings and entertaining, creating a flow that is at once relaxed and sophisticated.

A bespoke staircase and balustrade with slender steel spindles serves as a central sculptural feature, echoing the lines of the new internal and external steel doors and drawing the eye naturally up to the loft suite. Every detail, from layout to finishes, was considered to balance heritage with contemporary design, resulting in a home that feels tactile, welcoming, and quietly luxurious, where every space encourages living, gathering, and lingering.
