This classic 4 storey Victorian mansion set within a terrace in Queen’s Park had enviable proportions and voluminous rooms with tall ceilings, but had been insensitively modernised and devoid of any character. Elegant wall mouldings and original detailing including cornicing, architrave and skirtings were restored to bring back its Victorian Grandeur and fuse it with sleek contemporary elements. The full-scale renovation included a contemporary rear kitchen extension with expansive glass roof and a reconfigured layout fit for a family home, including a self-contained loft suite.
